There is a gold spike in the ground that marks the geological center of Disneyland (prior to Toontown). At least that is what most people believe. Actually the spike was there as a surveyors marker and was used to line up the castle with Main Street. There are actually several gold spike markers throughout the park. The center of the park is actually closer to the “Partners” statue.
